This Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) describes what you may not do with the REVUP Revenue Platform (the Service). It protects the people who receive content and messages sent through the Service, the platforms we connect to, our other customers and REVUP. If you are unsure whether something is allowed, ask us at info@letsrevup.com before you do it.
1. Professional use only
1.1 The Service is for promoting and operating businesses and professional activities. Authorized Users may publish through the Service only content that relates to the Customer's business or, where an Admin allows it, to their professional role at the Customer.
1.2 Authorized Users who are not Admins may publish only under their own name and may not publish as, or sign content on behalf of, the Customer's company accounts unless an Admin has granted them that right. Admins decide each user's posting rights, whether their posts need approval, and their weekly limits.
1.3 Personal, political-campaign or non-business use of the Service is not permitted.
2. Prohibited content
You may not use the Service to create, store, publish or send content that:
- is unlawful, or promotes or facilitates illegal activity, including illegal drugs, illegal weapons, human trafficking, or unlicensed gambling or financial services;
- sexually exploits or endangers children, or is sexually explicit;
- harasses, threatens, bullies, intimidates or incites violence against any person or group;
- promotes hatred or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, caste, disability, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, age or similar characteristics;
- is defamatory, or knowingly false or misleading, including false claims about products, prices, results, endorsements, health or finances;
- impersonates any person or organization, or misrepresents your affiliation with anyone;
- uses another person's name, image, voice or likeness without their permission, including AI-generated likenesses ("deepfakes") of real people;
- presents fake reviews, testimonials or endorsements as genuine, or hides a paid relationship that the law or a platform requires you to disclose;
- infringes anyone's copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity or other rights;
- contains another person's personal or confidential information without a lawful basis, including financial account numbers, government identifiers or health information;
- promotes self-harm, suicide or eating disorders;
- breaches the rules of any Third-Party Platform you publish to, including their rules on restricted products such as alcohol, tobacco, cannabis, weapons, health claims, financial products and dating;
- breaches the content laws of the country where it is published or received, including laws on public morals, religion and the state in the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia.
3. Messaging rules (email, SMS, WhatsApp and similar)
3.1 Consent. You may send marketing messages only to people who have given the consent that the law requires for that channel and country, and you must keep a record of when and how each consent was given. For marketing text messages in the United States, this generally means prior express written consent under the TCPA, and some states (for example Florida and Oklahoma) add their own consent, quiet-hour and frequency rules; where you message people in several states, apply the strictest rule.
3.2 No purchased or scraped lists. You may not upload or message contact lists that were bought, rented, borrowed, scraped from websites or social networks, or harvested in any other way without the recipients' consent.
3.3 Opt-out. Every marketing message must give a clear, free way to opt out (for example "Reply STOP" for SMS, or an unsubscribe link for email). You must honor opt-outs promptly on every channel, and you may not message someone again after they have opted out unless they opt in again.
3.4 Identification. Every message must clearly identify your business. Marketing emails must include a valid physical postal address, must be identified as advertising where the law requires (for example where the recipient has not given affirmative consent under the US CAN-SPAM Act), and must not use false or misleading header information or subject lines.
3.4A Opt-out timing. Email opt-outs must be honored within 10 business days at the latest (sooner where the law requires), and the opt-out method must keep working for at least 30 days after each message is sent. SMS opt-outs (for example "STOP") are processed automatically by the Service.
3.5 Timing and frequency. You must respect quiet hours and frequency limits that apply in the recipient's location, and the frequency you promised when you collected consent.
3.6 Sender registration and templates. You must complete and keep accurate any registration that carriers or platforms require (for example US 10DLC brand and campaign registration, UAE sender-name registration, WhatsApp Business verification and template approval), and you may send only the message types you registered for.
3.7 Prohibited message content. You may not send messages about content that carriers or platforms prohibit, including (in the US carrier rules commonly summarized as "SHAFT") sex, hate, alcohol, firearms and tobacco or cannabis, except where the law and the carrier allow it with age gating; high-risk financial offers such as payday loans or debt relief; or phishing, deceptive links or link shorteners not provided by the Service.
3.8 Email deliverability. You must use a sending domain you control, configure the authentication records the Service asks for (SPF, DKIM and DMARC), and keep bounce and complaint rates within limits that the Service or email providers set. REVUP may pause sending from a domain whose bounce or complaint rate puts the Service or other customers at risk.
3.9 Cold outreach. Messaging to people who have not opted in, where the law allows it at all (for example some business-to-business email), is permitted only within the limits of applicable law and the Service's limits, and never by SMS or WhatsApp.
4. Provider and platform policies
You must also comply with the usage policies of the AI providers and platforms the Service uses or connects to on your behalf, including the usage policy of our AI model providers (currently Anthropic's Usage Policy), Meta's and WhatsApp's business and commerce policies, and the developer and community rules of each social platform you publish to. Where those policies are stricter than this AUP, they apply.
5. Security and integrity
You may not:
- try to access accounts, workspaces, data or systems you are not authorized to access, or probe, scan or test the vulnerability of the Service without REVUP's written permission;
- share logins, or let anyone use the Service who is not an Authorized User;
- interfere with or disrupt the Service, other customers' use of it, or any Third-Party Platform, including by sending excessive requests;
- bypass or try to bypass usage limits, safety checks, brand checks, approval rules or any other control, including by prompting the AI in ways designed to defeat them;
- upload viruses, malware or any harmful code;
- use the Service to generate spam, fake accounts, fake engagement (likes, follows, comments or views), or coordinated inauthentic behavior;
- use automated tools to access the Service other than its published APIs;
- use the Service or its Outputs to build or train a competing product or AI model.
6. Reporting and enforcement
6.1 Reporting. Report suspected violations, security vulnerabilities or abuse to info@letsrevup.com.
6.2 What REVUP may do. If REVUP reasonably believes this AUP has been breached, it may, in proportion to the problem: warn the Customer; hold, edit the status of, or remove content from scheduling; pause messaging or publishing; suspend an Authorized User or the Account; report unlawful activity to authorities; and terminate the Account under the Terms of Service. Where lawful and practical, REVUP will tell the Customer what it did and why.
6.3 Cooperation. The Customer will cooperate with any reasonable investigation by REVUP, a Third-Party Platform or a carrier into a suspected violation, including by providing consent records on request.
7. Changes
REVUP may update this AUP to reflect changes in law, platform or carrier rules, or the Service. Material changes follow the notice process in section 13.3 of the Terms of Service, except changes required by law or by a platform, carrier or AI provider, which may apply sooner with as much notice as practical.
